St Cloud Refrigeration Acquires Cuddy Energy Systems

Mankato, MN: Neil Lillo, owner of Cuddy Energy Systems, Inc., reports that his company has been acquired by St. Cloud Refrigeration, of St Cloud, Minnesota, as of February 1, 2008. Cuddy Energy Systems was founded in 1980, with Neil Lillo as manager and eventual owner. The business will continue to operate locally as Cuddy Energy Systems a division of St. Cloud Refrigeration.

St. Cloud Refrigeration is a full service mechanical contractor with a controls division specializing in TAC Building Controls. Authorized to install and service TAC, I/Net, and Vista building automation systems, few changes will be seen during the integration of Cuddy Energy Systems and St. Cloud Refrigeration.

Advantages of the acquisition include St. Cloud Refrigeration’s far reaching branches, in Rochester, Baxter, and Rogers, Minnesota, extending the controls operation statewide. The well established business, St. Cloud Refrigeration, recently celebrated their 50 year anniversary as a mechanical, refrigeration, and controls, sales and service provider for all of Minnesota, parts of Iowa, Wisconsin, and the Dakotas.

Thanks to Neil, Larry, and Jessica Lillo, who will remain with the company, a smooth transition is sure to result. Plans to add additional sales and service staff are already underway, increasing the size of Cuddy Energy Systems operation. Additional TAC products and services will be offered by the Mankato Branch including TAC/Pelco CCTV cameras and recorders and TAC Access and Security controls.
